Zack Snyder’s version of Justice League released recently and it has proven to be a huge success as both fans and critics have loved it a lot. In fact, it became the second-most viewed film on HBO Max.

However, the road to making the film a reality was anything but smooth for Zack Snyder as Warner Bros really didn’t think much of Snyder.

While speaking to Yahoo!, Snyder revealed Warner Bros initially didn’t want him to shoot the Knightmare scene between Batman and Joker. Snyder was so determined to include the scene that he was willing to shoot the scene without their permission.

The Batman and Joker relationship is so element to both characters, and if I never make another DC film, I felt it was rude not to have done a scene with the two of them. Originally the studio said, ‘Now we don’t want that,’ but I was like, ‘I’m going to do it anyway.’ I was going to put up some green screens and shoot it in my backyard, but we didn’t have to do that in the end.”

Thankfully, Snyder’s hard work paid off as his version turned out to be a monumental success. Due to the immense success of the film, we certainly hope Warner Bros will consider making more films with Snyder at the helm.
