Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby star Houston Tumlin, who played the son of Will Ferrell, died on the 23rd of March, as per the report by TMZ. He was 28 years of age.

He was born in Pell City, Alabama on December 27, 1992. The 2006 movie was his only one where he was credited for a role on IMDb. He graduated Victory Christian High School in 2011 and went on to serve in the Army’s 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, as a report by Alabama.com revealed.

Tumlin reportedly committed suicide, according to the report by TMZ. They were informed by Shelby County Coroner Linda Evans. 

Houston shot himself in the head inside his home in Pelham, Alabama around 4:30 p.m.

Tumlin is survived by his parents as well as his girlfriend. She was inside his house when he committed suicide. As per TMZ, Tumlin had returned from his tour in September 2019, after which he spent a lot of time doing odd jobs to get himself through in Alabama.
