Khamzat Chimaev’s for the past few months has been anything but good. The UFC star shocked the MMA world when Chimaev announced he was done with UFC due to the lingering effects from COVID-19.

UFC President Dana White disregarded Chimaev’s retirement announcement, stating that he only got emotional from the consequences of his COVID-19 infection. To add to his woes, he fell out of the top 15 Welterweight rankings as well.

Now it seems Chimaev might be returning this year. At least, that is what Ali Abdelaziz is saying as he took to Twitter and made the announcement.

“The wolf been in the mountain plotting coming to you in the summer @KChimaev #Hungrywolf”

Chimaev has already established himself as one of the top fighters in the UFC and if he does make his return in the Summer of this year, then fans will certainly have a reason to celebrate.
