WWE can sometimes be a springboard for a career in the entertainment industry. This has opened the door in a big way for Charlotte Flair.

Deadline reports that David Eick, from Battlestar Galactica fame, is developing a reboot of the 1973 film Walking Tall. This film was later re-imagined with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in the leading role. Now they have a new WWE Superstar playing the lead.

The new project will be a Peacock Original and it is in development with NBCU. Charlotte Flair is set to star in the two-hour TV movie.

It’s unclear when they will shoot, but Charlotte Flair might need some more time off from WWE. We will have to see if they can work something out.

Flair will play a Tucson cop finding herself caught in a sea of treachery. This will include fraud, exploitation, and murder. She will have to go all out to protect her home town from such villainy.

This sounds like quite a project for Charlotte Flair to take on. Stay tuned.
