After Akademiks announced on Twitter on the release of Scary Hours 2 that Drake’s Certified Lover Boy will be dropping sometime in the spring, the anticipation for the album has gone at an all-time-high.

Since Drake has himself confirmed that Akademiks is a trusted source, fans can rest assured. However, since it’s Drake, delays are always in order. The anticipation for Certified Lover Boy is so strong that it could end up breaking charting records or define itself as the musical sensation of this summer.

After a recent Instagram post by Davido, it is highly speculated that the record could have a collaboration between Drake and the Nigerian rapper. Since Davido plays in the afrobeat genre, fans are hoping for at least a few features between the artists, if not an entire record.

After finding out about the collaboration, fans went crazy on Twitter. Drake has helped afrobeat break into the mainstream through his 2016 single “One Dance” ft. WizKid and Kyla, which was a defining hit for the artists as well.
