Fan-Made Batman Movie Goes Viral

DC superhero Batman has an upcoming movie starring Robert Pattinson in the titular role and will be revamped in Zack Snyder’s Justice League, However, some fans think the superhero should be doing other things on screen,

 A viral fan-made Batman film released recently and has been garnering millions of views on YouTube. With a run-time of almost half an hour, Batman: Dying Is Easy, explores the complicated relationship between Batman and his famed nemesis the Joker’s that mostly takes place in Arkham Asylum.

The IndieGoGo campaign for the film earned more than $75,000, surpassing their initial hopes. The result seems to have thrilled those who put their money where their fandom is. Here’s the description from the IndieGoGo page.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film features an impressive cast. Aaron and Sean Schoenke created and directed the film, enlisting Michael Madsen, Doug Jones, Casper Van Dien and Chris Daughtry for roles in the project. The film also features Kevin Porter as Batman, Aaron Schoenke as the Joker. Jones, meanwhile, plays the Riddler and stuntwoman Amy Johnson appears as Harley Quinn.
