Nicki Minaj’s husband had a checkered past before he got with The Queen. Kenneth Petty’s criminal history was uncovered after he got with the famous rapper, and it continues to resurface. They would obviously like to stop that.

Petty failed to register as a sex offender in California, the state where he moved with Nicki Minaj. He was convicted of first-degree attempted rape in 1994 and he faces a 10-year maximum sentence for failing to properly identify in California.

The Daily Beast recently spoke to Petty’s victim, and she revealed that the couple is trying to silence her. Petty’s victim, a woman named Jennifer, spoke out about alleged threats and harassment that she received from Petty and Minaj.

It is alleged that the two used intimidation tactics against her to control the narrative and protect Petty. She alleges that she and Petty were 16-years-old at the time of the assault, and she accused Petty and Minaj for trying to make her take back the story.

She also claims that they offered her “hundreds of thousands of dollars” to retract her account of the assault.

Jennifer revealed that she was forced to move several times in 2020 because she did not feel safe. She also alleged that after Petty’s 2020 arrest, for failing to identify, a mutual high school friend of hers and Petty’s named Barry reached out on the couple’s behalf.

Minaj also allegedly offered to help Jennifer with “whatever she needs.” Jennifer alleges that after having a conversation with Nicki Minaj where she didn’t recant her story, her cousin was approached with a $500,000 offer speak with Petty’s attorney. Barry then got involved once again and visited Jennifer with a $20,000 offer to change her story around as well.

Jennifer also believes Barry was trying to get Nicki Minaj to perform at his daughter’s birthday party in exchange for helping out.
