The case between rapper Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez is far from over, but it seems a new decision was made in favor of Megan Thee Stallion.

According to The Blast, a Los Angeles judge ruled that Tory Lanez no longer has the right to publicly speak about the ongoing shooting case concerning him and Megan Thee Stallion. It was stated that lawyers representing Lanez also argued that the protective order preventing him from talking about the case is ‘unfair’ as it isn’t applicable to Stallion as well.

Tory Lanez had earlier pleaded not guilty to the charges meted out against him, which include assault with a semiautomatic firearm and carrying a loaded and unregistered firearm.

Stallion has been quite vocal about Lanez shooting her last year, where she tweeted the following:

Bitchh you shot me AND MY STORY NOT CHANGING AND BITCH YOU GOING TO JAIL.”

Megan’s lawyers had earlier told the media the following, after Lanez requested he be able to speak publicly regarding the shooting case.

“Did the motion fail to mention that there was gunshot residue on his hands or that he texted her ‘Sorry?’ I haven’t had a chance to read it.”

We wonder whether there will be more twists and turns when it comes to this case. We will keep you updated on this ongoing story.
