The City of Baltimore REFUSES to PAY Hackers Controlling Ransomware

The city of Baltimore still struggles to take control of their government data servers. Two weeks ago, a team of hackers hit the city’s data servers with a ransomware called RobbinHood. The city of Baltimore refuses to pay the hackers. However, it seems they’re playing a risky game.

The ransomware called “RobbinHood” locks all the files in a computer & you can only remove it if you pay the ransom. The city of Baltimore is clearly not going to pay the ransom of 13 bitcoins ($103,749.49), as they’ve proclaimed.

The ransomware will also get stronger & the ransom will slowly increase as the days go by. Only time can tell how the city of Baltimore will fight the cyber attack.
