Chris Brown is attempting to settle the lawsuit filed by his former manager that has accused him of assault and battery.
The Blast reports that Chris & Mike G have asked for their scheduled trial that was set to begin on June 5th be pushed back. The judge granted the request and the trial will not take place on October 11th instead. They plan to work out a settlement over the next couple of months.
For those who don’t know the full story, back in 2016 the former manager accused Chris of false imprisonment, assault, battery, defamation, and breach of contract. Mike claimed Chris without provocation attacked him in and he had to be hospitalized as a result.
Brown also took to social media to accuse Mike G of stealing money, which the Mike denied.
